Bio

Ashley Sexton was a born fighter, after being born 7 weeks premature in the North Middlesex hospital in Edmonton on 21st October 1987 to parents Michelle Chaplin and Lee Sexton both from Tottenham, North London. He weighed in at 2 pounds 2oz and spent the best part of two months in an incubator with tubes in him helping him eat and breathe. He was given a 50-50 chance to live but unknown to everyone the way he came into the world, fighting, is the way he would choose to spend most of his life. He spent early part of his childhood living in Tottenham, before moving to to nearby Wood Green, North London. In where he went to primary school. Ashley was a bright but soft child and small for his age so when he started getting into fights at school mostly with bigger older kids at the age of 7 his dad decided to take him down to Finchley amateur boxing club where he started to box. Ashley loved it but couldn’t actually have a fight until after his eleventh birthday so kept training and two weeks after his eleventh birthday, Ashley had his first real bout which he lost but he kept learning and training hard and nine years later after moving to Cheshunt Boxing Club then Haringey Police he had travelled the world boxing in places like Italy, Ghana, Spain, USA, Sweden, Estonia & Lithuania to name a few.

Also representing England from School Boy to senior and collecting multi national titles and box-cup medals along the way he finished with a decent record of 87 bouts winning 58 before deciding to turn professional in August 2008.
